The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and management necessary to provide pick-up and disposal, by incineration, of regulated medical waste from Navy medical clinics in the Tidewater Virginia area. The Contractor shall provide corrugated boxes with plastic bags and sealing tape and/or reusable, leak proof, locking containers with plastic bags that comply with Virginia Department of Environmental Quality regulations. The period of performance is for twelve months from the contract start date, August 15, 2000, with four one- to twelve- month option periods. The total contract duration shall not exceed 60 months. The resulting contract will be a combination Firm Fixed Price and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quality contract. This procurement is NOT set aside for small business concerns.
