The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Detachment Philadelphia is seeking potential sources to provide lodging services to visitors of the Naval Training Center (NTC) Great Lakes, IL. Lodging facility is to be located no more than 10 to 15 miles from NTC Great Lakes. The Naval Training Center would like to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with local facilities as the Bachelor Officer Housing (BOH) will be undergoing renovation for a minimum of 22 months. The BOH has 107 rooms with an average occupancy of 61% (based on Fiscal Year 1999 data). Also, 2,803 nonavailability days were issued to visitors during fiscal year 1999. The peak season is May through October. Current maximum per diem rates that the Government is authorized to pay for lodging in the NTC Great Lakes area is $130.00. Current rates based on single occupancy at the BOH is $23 per night for a regular room plus $5.75 per additional occupant. For VIP suites, the rate at the BOH is $29 per night plus $7.25 per additional occupant. Amenities shall include television, refrigerator, coffee maker, and alarm clock.
