Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for National Capital Parks-Central Project PLH-NACC 502(3),505(2), in Washington, DC. The project consists of the rehabilitation of the Independence Avenue bridge over Maine Avenue, and rehabilitation of westbound Maine Avenue from 17th Street to Raoul Wallenberg Place. The work consists of removal of asphalt pavement, placement of Superpave asphalt concrete pavement, removal and placement of structural concrete, drainage work, installation of stone curb, and other miscellaneous work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Aggregate Base, grading C or D, 150 mm depth: 1,650 square meters; Superpave asphalt concrete pavement: 1,000 metric tons; Structural concrete, class D: 98 cubic meters; Stone curb, type 1, 400 mm depth: 1,285 m; Signal Sytem: Lump sum; and Removal of concrete, full and partial depth: 250 square meters.
