Notice is hereby provided of the Government requirement to procure a roof replacement for the Wellesley Island Border Station in Wellesley Island, NY. The successful contractor will be required to furnish all necessary labor, material, equipment and supervision. The proposed construction includes the removal of existing built-up roof materials. Work includes the installation of approximately 26,650 sq. feet of a new built-up roof, four (4) ply with aluminum asphalt fibrated top coat. Sealed bidding will be conducted on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The soliciation will include a 10% price evaluation preference for HUBzone small business concerns pursuant to FAR 52.219-4. An additional 10% Price Evaluation Adjustment will be available to small disadvantaged business concerns from the states of CT, IA, KS, MA, ME, MN, MO, NE, NH, ND, RI, SD, VT. The magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 1761 and the small business standard size is $7.0 million. The performance period shall not exceed 12 weeks commencing one day after the notice proceed. Performance Bonds and Payment Bonds are required upon award.
