seeking qualified sources to consider in an award of a contract for
Hydraulic Motors and associated parts. Various quantities. Delivery
will be F.O.B. Destination, U.S. Coast Guard ELC, 2401 Hawkins Point
Road, Baltimore, MD. It is the Government's belief that this item can
only be obtained from MacGregor (USA), Inc. If there are other
authorized distributors, you are required to provide authorized
distributorship from MacGregor (USA), Inc. to the U.S. Coast Guard
within 15 days of this announcement. However, other potential sources
having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data
discussing the same in duplicate within 15 days from the date of this
announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate
the acceptability of the offered MacGregor parts: (1) Complete and
curent engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered
MacGregor parts (i.e., salient physical, functional, and serviceability
characteristics), or (2) Data that the offered MacGregor parts have
been satisfactorily manufactured for the government or the original
equipment manufacturer. All production drawings and specifications for
the motors are proprietary data to MacGregor (USA), Inc. This notice
is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned, and
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation
(DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU),
has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged
business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance
for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
