materials, equipment, supervision and transportation required for
renovations to the Ida Lewis Auditorium, Building 152, U.S. Coast Guard
Training Center Cape May, 1 Munro Avenue, Cape May, New Jersey. In
general the work includes the following: 1) Remove masonry veneer; 2)
Remove clay tile coping and replace with pre-finished metal coping; 3)
Spray wash the exterior facades of the building; 4) Remove stucco wall
panel and install new stucco coating; 5) Remove damaged and replace
quarry tile flooring; 6) Install aluminum handrails on entry ramp; 7)
Remove the entry aluminum and glass door sidelites; 8) Enlarge the two
toilet rooms; 9) Relocate the condensate pump room and janitors
closet; 10) Remove existing and provide new entry double metal doors;
11) Remove existing and provide new Auditorium seating; 12) Modify the
rooms adjacent to the stage curtains to include a new handicap lift
and wall pockets; 13) Provide a programmable thermostat to operate in
occupied mode; 14) Remove and replace the lobby lighting fixtures with
an energy efficient type, recess mounted similar to the existing
fixtures; 15) Stage Lighting-Remove and replace existing dimmer
switches; 16) Provide additional general Auditorium lighting controlled
by dedicated switches. The period of performance is 300 days after
Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $250,000.00
and $500,000.00 and is open to both small and large business in
accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration
Program. The SIC Code for this procurement is 1542. Due date for bids
