REPUBLIC AND HUNGARY SOL CO-9090-RADAR DUE 052600 POC Alexis Kemper
(202-482-1512) The NATO C3 Agency, as the Procurement Agent on behalf
of the Host Nations Czech Republic and Hungary, invite bids for the
acquisition of five(5) Three Dimensional Fixed Position Air Defense
Radar(3-D FADR) systems. A quantity of three(3) radar systems will be
installed in Hungary and two(2) radar systems installed in the Czech
Republic. The prospective contract is for the design, manufacture,
installation, testing, training, documentation and maintenance for a
quantity of five (5)3-D FADR systems. The contractor will be required
to deliver and install radomes for the five(5) antenna (subject to
separate fund authorization). The electronic suite will include a Local
Monitoring and Control Console, a remote Standard Radar Control(SRCC),
a radar Environment Simulator(RES), and IFF Mk XII system, or, as an
option, and IFF Mk XILA system. Internal communications equipment in
the form of 10-branch telephone exchange(PBX)is also required. Each
radar system shall be integrated (i.e. for sensor data, status data,
and control data) into two control sites that shall be equipped with
remote control capabilities using the NATO Standard Radar Control
Console(SRCC) Specification. The Technical Specification for the radar
and the electronic suite will be based on the document AC/4-D(98)10
entitled "Technical Requirements Specifications for AADGE/ACCS
Ground-Based Surveillance Radars". This document is classified and is
not available for release from this Agency prior to the issuance of the
Invitation For Bids. The technical specification encompasses radar
operating in either D-Band (also known a L-Band) or the E/F Band (also
known as S-Band). Theatre Ballistic Missile detection capability and
protection against Electro-Magnetic Pulse are not required. Technical
specifications applicable to the bidding and the coontractual documents
are "NATO CONFIDENTIAL". Bidders must have and overall personnel
security and facility clearance of "NATO SECRET" at the time of IFB
release in order to be eligible to receive Biddingdocuments and to
submit a Bid. All applicants must be certified by the U.S. Department
of Commerce, Office of Telecommunications. Submit all request to be
