This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for this Hamada H248-CX Landscpe Press. The following specifications are what is to be included as standard or as an add on feature for the requested printing press. Some of the equipment and specifications listed may be general in nature; however, those features marked with an asterisk * are the only acceptable options. Printing Press-*true two color offset printing press (presses that use the same blanket for both color, i.e.: T-head or similar, are unacceptable. Approximate weight: 3,000 to 5,000 Lbs. approximate dimensions, 100" x 45" x 60", approximate sheet size, Maximum- 14" x 19", Minimum-3 1/2" x 5 1/2", approximate image are-13 3/4" x 18 7/8", feed system, *Universal feeder, *Landscape feed, *Electro-mechanical double sheet detector, upper and lower feed rolls, double sucker feet. Registration System: Automated set-up feature, Register Board, Micro-adjustable mechanical pull guides for both sides, running register both vertical and horizontal. Quick-change register pins for plates. Sheet Delivery System: Chain delivery, *Spray powder attachment, *Infrared dryer, Air Shower, Stack limit detector, Inking System: removable or drop down ink fountain. * a minimum of 3 rollers. Ink roller wash up attachment. Dampening System: *Crestline (or similar). Chiller with re-circulating fountain system. Power Requirements: 208 to 220 volt (around 20 amp, 3 phase is ok). Motor: *forward and reverse inching capability, Inverter type speed control system. Miscellaneous/Equipment: Preset/reset counter, Electronic jam detector, Auto stop for plate cylinder, static eliminator, * Centralized lubrication, tool drawer with tools, plate punch. Deliver time frame: not to exceed 30 days from receipt of order. Location for press: OTAG/ADMIN, 9800 Goethe Road, Bldg#104, Sacramento, CA 95826. Preventative Maintenance Agreement: Yearly, to include quarterly preventative maintenance and six (6) emergency visits with unlimited telephone technical support. Commences when manufacturers warranty expires. All technicians and/or repair personnel performing inspection(s) and/or repairs of this equipment shall be completely trained by the manufacturer, fully competent on the specific printing press installed. Quarterly preventative maintenance service consists of cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and replacing parts when needed to keep the printing press in good operating condition. Maintenance services will be rendered during the contractor's regular business hours.
