The principal components of the work to be performed under these specifications include the following: The features of the work involves roof repair on two existing powerplants at Minidoka Dam. The first part of the work involves removal of an existing standing seam metal roof of the Minidoka Powerplant, inspecting and replacing of any rotted roof wood decking, furnishing and installing additional roof drains and associated piping, cleaning and repairing of concrete roof parapet walls, furnishing and installing roof flashing, furnishing metal siding and siding two roof cupolas, furnishing and installing metal standing seam roofing, and furnishing and installing permanent fall prevention safety devices. The second part of the work requires upgrade of the existing Al Inman Powerplant standing seam roof flashing and drains. This work also requires furnishing and installing additional roof drains and piping; furnishing and installing heat tape, furnishing and installing metal access wall ladders to the roof, and furnishing and installing permanent fall prevention safety devices.
