This announcement constitutes the RFQ, no other documentation will be provided. Quotes will be accepted at any time prior to COB on May 11, 2000. This solicitation is unrestricted as to business size. SIC code 5065 applies. The provisions at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. A product warranty consistent with customary commercial practices is required.Items to be delivered are: One (1) TT-3000M Aero Mini-M Satcom system, which includes; TT-3068A Satellite Data Unit, Single channel; Opt. 005 NRS/GPS; Opt 921 1/4ATR Shock Tray; TT-5006A Antenna; Antenna mounting plate for 68" radius fuselage; TT-5621A handset (Black); TT-5622A handset cradle (Black); TT-3010H HPS/LNA. Coax cable installation kits and air time are not included in this requirement. A minimum of 2 years parts and labor warrant, all equipment to be sent to Vendor for repair. Installation to be performed by NOAA/AOC personnel. Post installation, inspection, if required by the vendor for warranty activation purposes, is to be included in the system cost. FOB point is destination. The Government reserves the right to not purchase the antenna mounting plate for the 68" radius fuselage. If a supplier is unable to provide this, their quote should so state and will still be considered for award. All items listed above are to be addressed in the proposal. This is a firm-fixed price acquisition. Award will be based on the lowest overall cost to the Government. The AOC needs these items in time for the hurricane season which begins on June 1, 2000, however, due to the short time frame, a later date will be considered and venders are encouraged to submit their proposals. Proposal are to state the delivery date; vendors DUNS number; TIN number and business size. All responsible sources may submit their quote and will be considered by the agency.
