63 -- CD/DVD TESTING SYSTEM SOL RFQ00C-18 POC Arneen Dozier, Contracting Officer, (202) 707-0406 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and RFQ00C-18 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-32. The Library of Congress has a requirement to purchase a commercially available CD/DVD testing system that will be used to test a variety of CD and DVD media. The main objective of such testing is to identify errors generated due to degradation of these media upon aging. Functional requirements are available upon request. All items shall be delivered within 60 days After Receipt of Order (ARO). Library of Congress/Receiving Unit, Landover Center Annex, 1701 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD 20785. The following provisions apply to this acquisition; 52.212-1 Instructions of Offerors-Commercial and 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (under this clause the following clauses have been modified by the Library of Congress; 52.233-1 Duputes; 52.232-25 Prompt Payments. These clauses shall be available upon written request. Offerors shall include a complete copy of the provisions at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer.
