The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, intends to solicit and award an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract to Tryck Nyman Hayes, Inc. (TNH) of Anchorage, Alaska on a sole source basis for technical support of the Navy's Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) and Very Low Frequency (VLF) through Low Frequency (LF) transmitting facilities worldwide. The above services are required to support the planning, development and implementation of both existing and new antenna and transmitter systems and require recent highly specialized experience in the areas of LF/VLF/ELF engineering, Omega conversion to LF/VLF transmission, use of recovered Omega antenna and transmission products in existing LF/VLF site, adaptation of recovered Omega equipment for reuse in LF/VLF sites, and composite bushing development and Loran conversion and/or site sharing.
