CURRENT AND FUTURE PROJECTS OF NOAA/NESDIS' ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION SERVICES NOAA's National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) will hold a public meeting for interested parties pertaining to current and future projects of the Environmental Information Services (EIS). The purpose of this meeting is to discuss how these data services have been critical in supporting many recent findings regarding our climate and the numerous challenges as the data sets increase in volume. A discussion of the Fiscal Year 2001 budget will also be included. All interested parties are invited to attend and participate in this meeting. The meeting will be held on May 5, 2000, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the U.S. Department of Commerce Headquarters at 14th and Constitution Avenue, N.W., Room 1414, Washington, D.C. 20230.
