Y -- NATO: CONSTRUCTION OF YOUTH CENTER AT AVIANO AIR BASE, ITALY SOL N33191-98-B-1311 DUE 051500 POC Alexis Kemper (202-482-1512) The United States Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Engineering Field Activity Mediterranean invites bids for the construction of a Youth Center at Aviano Air Base, Italy. This approximately 2900 SM gross area Youth Activity Center building is a two-story building with reinforced concrete foundation, reinforced concrete columns and beams, and in-filled masonry walls. The roof will be a clay tile hipped roof. Exterior finishes are stucco. The building will include classroom/instructional spaces and a gymnasium. A passenger elevator is required. A kitchenette with multipurpose room is included. The interior will be finished with plaster walls and acoustical ceilings, and will be equipped with fire alarm and sprinkler systems. Heating ventilation and Air conditioning shall be required, including chillers, boilers and fan units. Site improvements such as demolition, utility connections, sidewalks, and landscaping are to be included in the project. Outdoor athletic fields (soccer/baseball) are also required.
