Installation of an emergency generator, San Juan Puerto Rico. Work will be performed at the FDA's San Juan, Puerto Rico facility and includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, labor and supervision necessary to install the emergency generator, controls and associated accessories at the facility. This generator will service as full back-up power to the main administration building and to the laboratory area. A fixed price contract is contemplated with a 180 day period of performance. The estimated cost of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation issue date is on or about May 22, 2000, and the bid opening date will be approximately 30 days later.
