offers for the purchase of nine vehicles to be exported to the Eastern
Hemisphere. This procurement is a small business set aside and a
solicitation. This is a sole source procurement. Vendors with questions
may fax directly to the contracting Officer listed above. The kind of
vehicles required are year 2000 model Jeep Cherokees with standard
package to include but not limited to:Jeep Cherokee/LHD four door sport
utility wagon, four wheel drive 4X4, 2.5L 4 cyl. turbo diesel engine,
5 speed manual transmission, 2 speed transfer case, power steering,
power brakes w/discs, anti-lock brakes, dual exterior mirrors, (5)
P215/75R15 off road tires, full face steel wheels 15", air
conditioning, tinted glass, fuel tank capacity:75 LTS.,tachometer &
gauges, metric speedometer, roof luggage rack, full carpeting, H.D.
alternator & Battery, heavy duty radiator, heavy duty suspension,
driver's side air bag, passenger's side air bag, dual reclining bucket
seats, rear folding bench seat capacity:5 passengers, H.D. cloth
upholstery, acceptable color for the exterior is White with
coordinating interior color. Vendors are also requested to propose a
list of spare parts for each vehicle to include tires, filters, belts
and other parts as recommended by the manufacturer -- one spare parts
kit per vehicle for one year (25,000 KMS) and one spare parts kit per
vehicle for 2 years (50,000 KMS) which would be suitable to be utilized
in a part of the world where replacement parts are difficult to obtain
and wherein the vehicles would be required to withstand extremely
strenuous use. These parts would include, for example, fuel filters,
belts, oil filters, oil drain plugs, radiator hose lower, radiator hose
upper, air filters, wiper blade rear, front wiper blades for a 25,000
KMS kit. On the other hand, for a 50,000 KMS kit, for example, include
nozzles, shoe kit, fuel filter, thermostat, belts, gasket valve cover,
brake pads front, shocks front, oil filters, glow plugs, joint-u,
spring bushing rear, spring bushing rear, radiator hose lower, radiator
hose upper, absorber rear shock, air filters, 2 wiper blades, front
wiper blade, and tires for each vehicle. Vendor must price the spare
kits separately from the vehicle -- one price for 25,000 KMS kit, and
one price for 50,000 KMS kit. ALSO, EACH SPARE PART IN EACH KIT MUST
CARRY ITS OWN SEPARATE PRICE. If a vendor believes additional parts not
named in this notice would be necessary and would be appropriate for
the purpose intended please include those also in your offer. The Govt.
will make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to
the solicitation contained herein and is most advantageous to the Govt.

factors such as time period required for delivery ARO, considered. The
combined relative merit of the technical evaluation factors listed
above will be more significant than cost or price in the selection of
the contractor. While the cost or price factor has no numerical weight,
it is a criterion in the overall evaluation of proposals. Furthermore,
the proposed cost or price must be reasonable and reflect technical
requirements. The Government may award to other than the lowest priced
offer. In the event that two or more offers are technically
equivalent, the cost/price and delivery time will be primarily
important. Total prices quoted must be FOB price to port of NY/NJ. Note
