E-MAIL: Genefer D. Brice, genefer.d.brice1@jsc.nasa.gov. NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for Ruggedized Vera Module Eurocard (VME) chassis Enclosures for a full and 1/2 ATR chassis. The ATR chassis is a flight computer system and is based on the VME architecture. The full ATR chassis is a 12-slot unit with 2 redundant power supply modules. The 1/2 ATR chassis is a 5-slot unit with 3 redundant power supply modules. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 3764 and 1000 employees, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO-C9. The provisions and clauses in the RFO and model contract are those in effect through FAC 97-17. All qualified responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about May 3, 2000 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about May 31, 2000. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See Internet Note "B".
