Asphalt Concrete -- Asphalt Concrete shall conform to section 828.03, of the Georgia Department of Transportation Specification, Latest Edition for "E" mix Asphalt Concrete. Asphalt Concrete is to be delivered in trucks regularly used for the purpose and equipped for dumping in a 180 Blaw Knox Spreader or similar type spreader. After loading at the batch plant the asphalt concrete will be covered with a tarpaulin until unloaded. Asphalt concrete will be delivered to the job site at 300 degrees fahrenheit +/-20 degrees fahrenheit. Asphalt concrete not meeting this requirement upon delivery will be rejected. Asphalt concrete meeting these spcifications will be delivered to specified areas at Allatoona Lake, GA (see attached map). The Bituminous Tack Coat material shall conform to Section 413 and Section 828.03, of the Georgia Department of Transportation Specification, latest edition.
