Department of Education's Office of Migrant Education (OME) has an ongoing requirement for the operation of a toll free 1-800 line. OME provides interstate coordination and connectivity for migrant students and their educators via venues such as interstate coordination meetings, a 1-800 phone number providing interstate information to callers, and now is venturing into the early inquiry stages regarding the feasibility of an electronic student information system which would provide migrant educators information regarding incoming migrant students such as academic and health information. This information is vital in ensuring the best possible education is made available to migrant students. Only Not-for-Profit institutions should apply.
