The Naval Oceanographic Office intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures (under FAR Part 13.5) to Dynalysis of Princeton, 219 Wall Street, Princeton, New Jersey 08540, for to provide technical services in support of the Princeton-Dynalysis Ocean Model of the Gulf of Mexico. Support shall include installation, implementation, operational documentation, development of model performance metrics and model improvements. Period of performance shall be for a base plusfour (4), one (1) year, option periods. The basis for the proposed non-competitive action is that there is only one responsible source and no other source posses the capabilities to satisfy the requirements of this Command.
