This is a Source of Sought Synopsis to determine if there are any private sector offerors and other Federal Agencies interested and capable of providing rental of coin free standard commercial and stacked appliance washers and dryers. Contractor provides all maintenance and repairs and materials necessary to perform the requirements of the specifications as listed herein in connection with maintenance, installation and rental of an estimated total of 189 coin free commercial standard and stacked appliance washers and dryers for estimated 37 locations on Andrews AFB and two transmitter sites (Brandywine) and (Davidsonville) MD. Contractor to provide to Andrews the followings: An estimated (75) washers commercial type heavy duty with18-lb load capacity, 40 gallons of water per cycle with a 1-position water level and automatic timer or a manual adjustable timer and a 3-position water temperature control for hot, warm, and cold. Washer must be equipped with safety feature that will stop the flow of water.Contractor provides an estimated (77) electric Dryers commercial type, heavy duty operate on a 220-volt, 30 amps. Vents shall be 4 inch in diameter and be vented to the out doors through the right back or bottom. The dryers shall be equipped with a timer for selection of drying time. It shall also be equipped with a safety switch to stop operation when the door is opened, thermostatically controlled in the permanent press or wash and wear cycles and not exceed 150 degrees. The contractor shall provide Andrews with 35 stacked appliance washers and dryers. Contractor to provide Brandywine and Davidsonville an estimeted 2 standard commercial washers and an estimated 2 standard commercial dryers. This is not a request for proposal, but for planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government.
