04-B&LocID=3. E-MAIL: Donna Renner, donna.renner@gsa.gov. Solicitation
scheduled to issue on or about May 4, 2000. This solicitation is a
standing solicitation for Federal Supply Schedule FSC Group 49, Part I,
Section B, from which the Government contemplates award of contracts
for supplies listed in the Schedule of Items covering 17 Special Item
Numbers. GSA is issuing this solicitation only electronically.
Interested parties may access the solicitation at http://eps.gov. This
site provides instructions for downloading the solicitation file. The
Scope is expanded to include all SINs previously included in the 49II
Schedule, which has been merged with this schedule. SINs for both
schedules have been consolidated in order that the correct SIN in which
items are being offered will be easier to locate. Equipment Leasing has
been added as a new SIN for leasing of equipment on contract. The
principle purpose of this schedule is for the purchase of Maintenance
and Repair Shop Equipment. The scope is expanded to include worldwide
delivery. FOB Destination terms apply to the 48 contiguous United
States and Washington, DC. For companies offering product delivered
outside the 48 contiguous United States, FOB Destination terms apply to
all locations outside the domestic scope. Contact points for locations
outside the domestic scope are mandatory in order to provide those
locations with local assistance. This solicitation will remain in
effect unless amended and/or replaced by an updated solicitation.
Multiple Award Schedule solicitations are "standing" opportunities for
new offers. There is no closing date for receipt of offers; therefore,
offers may be submitted for consideration at any time during the life
of this solicitation. The Federal Supply Schedule period is continuous,
and will contain contracts with periods that commence on the date of
award (DOA) and expire five years (exclusive of any options) from the
DOA unless further extended pursuant to any Option to Extend the Term
of the Contract, or canceled sooner. Offers will be accepted for brands
identical to those currently awarded. All contracts will be indefinite
delivery -- indefinite quantity contracts with $100 guaranteed minimum
for the contract period. Various clauses including Clause I-FSS-599,
Electronic Commerce -- FACNET, which implements GSA Advantage (GSA's
On-Line Shopping Program) are included. Acceptance of the Government
Purchase Card is mandatory for payments equal to or less than the
micro-purchase threshold for oral or written delivery orders. All
contracts to be awarded include Industrial Funding provisions. See Note
12 (Trade Agreements). All responsible sources may submit an offer,
which will be Posted 05/04/00 (D-SN451496). (0125) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0254 20000508\49-0001.SOL)
