Juhl, Contracting Officer, 309-782-3370 DESC: The United States Army, TACOM-Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois, has a need to procure commercial Universal Joint Puller Kits, NSN: 5120-01-210-4096, to be used in the U.S. Army Automotive Maintenance and Repair Shop Sets. The Universal Joint puller kit must be Qwatonna Tool Part Number 7057 or equal. The puller must be a two-jaw puller with a 7 ton rating, a maximum reach of 8-3/4 inches, a maximum spread of 9-1/2 inches, and a jaw width of 1.0 inches. The puller kit must contain a storage box, operator instructions, and the mechanical puller with all parts and accessories for servicing Spicer 1600/1610 through 1880 series U-joints and Rockwell 16N, 17N, 18N, and 1710 series U-joints. This solicitation will result in a best value, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), five-year contract. The guaranteed minimum quantity for the first year is 700 kits. FOB will be origin.
