Johann, (949) 360-3180 The Immigration and Naturalization Service, Administrtive Center, Laguna Niguel, CA intends to negotiate a commercial item supply contract to include a base year and three one -year options, for the U.S. Border Patrol, for the supply and delivery, F.O.B. destination, of galvanized fence posts for the construction of security fencing, Phase II (construction by the Government) in the vicinity of the U.S./Mexico International Border, San Diego, CA 92173 (Otay Mesa area). Materials -- (1) Posts: ASTM F 1083, zinc-coated. Group 1A, with external Type A steel pipe. Group IC steel pipe, zinc-coating with external coating Type A or B. Formed steel sections shall meet the strength and coating requirements of ASTM 1043. (2) Braces and Rails: ASTM F 1083, zinc-coated, Group IA, steel pipe, size NPS 1 5/8. Group IC steel pipe, zinc-coated, Group IA, steel pipe, size 1 5/8. Group IC steel pipe, zinc-coated, shall meet the strength and coating requirements of ASTM F 1043. Materials will be order per the specifications and drawings. These supplies will be used for the construction of Phase II plus the repair and maintenance of Phase I of the fence project. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The small business size standard is 500. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 5039 Construction Material, Not Elsewhere Classified.
