The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center San Diego is soliciting proposals for 12 each Vehicular RF transceivers, 32 each base station transceiver systems, 44 each data modem and auto link establishments, 44 each HF antenna couplers, 44 each control cable assemblies, 44 each coax cable assemblies, 88 each cables, 25 each 400 Watt power supplies, 12 each tilt-whip adapters, 7 each adapter antennas, and technical manuals for all of the above equipment. Specifications will be provided with the solicitation document, which will be released on or about May 22, 2000. The proposed contract will be Firm Fixed Price. The Government intends to award a single contract, but reserves the right to award multiple contracts when it is determined most advantageous. Multiple awards are identified in FAR 16.504(c). The Standard Industrialization Code is 3669. This is a new requirement and is not considered a follow-on.
