Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) has a requirement for consultation services in support of Fleet Hospital Support Office (FHSO), Cheatham Annex, VA, for the implementation of a quality management system which is compliant with requirements contained in International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard 9001:2000 (ISO 9001). FHSO provides design, production, maintenance, deployment, and all related support functions for Fleet Hospitals, which are transportable 500-bed combat zone hospitals stored in 20-foot International Shipping Organization shipping containers. FHSO functions are performed by a combination of Government and contractor staff. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR subpart 13.5.
