The Medical Clerks will assist the Administrative and Clinical Medical Staff with Clerical duties. These duties include but are not limited to general clerical and secretarial duties: filing of medical records, transcription of dictation, scheduling and completing all necessary forms for a town trip, assist radiology department in record keeping, tracking and/or scheduling patients for x-rays, compiling medical data for statistical reports, advising when office supplies are required and stocking supplies in examining rooms and emergency room and conducting audits of records and patient care for various departments as requested by the Health System Administrator. This service is a contractual arrangement and not a personnel appointment.
