This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number will be a request for quotes (RFQ) 504-00-016. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through FAC 97-17. This is a 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation is for request for quotes to do window washing services for approximately 1000 windows to be cleaned and approximately 885 of these are swing out style. These are a two piece double pane window with blinds inside the double glaze. These windows will require taking the window apart, cleaning all four glass surfaces and the blinds. A limited number of windows are blocked by furnishings and these will need to be moved to access the windows. Services will include cleaning inside and out and include all materials, lifts, labor, and supplies. MSDS sheets must be provided for any hazardous cleaning products. This is a hospital setting and patients privacy and wellbeing will have the up most priority. The quantities listed herein are estimated. Proposals should be priced, for a per window type, as follows: Ground Floor Window; 31 ea, single pane, 337 ea, Double pane w/blinds/swing out, 4 ea, Single Doors, 11 ea, double doors. Upper Floor windows; 563 ea, Double pane w/blinds/swing out, 4 ea, Stained glass. Breezeway Windows; Ground floor, 14 ea, single pane 87"x48", Upper Floor, 62 ea, single pane 87"x48". Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items will be based on cost and past performance, both rated equally.
