The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for the repair and replacement of chain link fence and associated components to be performed at its site located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The scope of work includes repair of chain link fence on short notice and replacement of fence fabric and associated components. A descriptive specification and drawings will be identified for each delivery order. The base contract period of performance is twelve months with two twelve-month options to renew. The anticipated minimum amount is $1,000 and maximum amount is $500,000 for the life of the contract. An indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract is anticipated with the issuance of delivery orders for each requirement. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business (SIC 1799 and $7.0M). See Numbered Notes 1 and 26. Contract award will be made on the basis of the best value to the Government with price, technical and past performance factors considered.
