Sonatech designed, shock-tested, and built the original AN/BQN-13A Distress Pinger System. They have extensive knowledge in AN/BQN-13A system failure modes. They also have the necessary specialized manufacturing and test fixtures to conduct the task. Simplified Acqisition Procedures per FAR Part 13 will be used. No formal solicitation will be issued.
