Laboratory/California Institute of Technology (JPL/Caltech), operating
under a prime contract with the National Aeronautics and Space
Administration (NASA), seek interested firms to: (1) sustain an
existing system; (2) migrate to a more universally supported platform,
and (3) design and implement systems based on new functional
requirements for JPL's Consulting and Program Support for Electronic
Parts, Information, Network Systems (EPINS) and Flight Hardware
Logistics Program (FHLP). The current applications track user
requirements for: (a) electronic components; (b) procurements; (c)
inventory; (d) allocations of inventory; (e) post receiving activities;
and (f) deliveries to fulfill user requirements. Additional
applications exist for alert tracking, failure analysis activities,
record storage tracking, time tracking and reporting, and part review
analysis and reporting. Additionally, there is a set of Web based
reporting applications. We are looking for a contractor who can: (1)
maintain and perform modifications on the existing system; (2) accept
new functional requirements; (3) deliver detailed specifications for
review and approval; and (4) accept detailed specifications and produce
systems which meet the functional requirements. Implementation plans
for new systems must include any array of options to allow us to scale
the work effort to the available funding resources. To maintain the
current system, the contractor should have a working knowledge of the
following: (1) Pervasive.SQL 2000; (2) Pervasive.SQL 2000 SDK; (3)
Pervasive ActiveX controls; (4) Pervasive Tango Server; (5) O'Reilly's
Website; (6) Microsoft IIS 4.0; (7) CGI programming; (8) Visual Basic;
(9) Microsoft C/C++; (10) Microsoft Excel; (11) Microsoft Word; (12)
Microsoft Access; (13) Adobe Acrobat SDK; (14) Active Reporter by Data
Dynamics; (15) VSView by Videosoft; (16) ANSI SQL 92; (17) POP3 mail
interfaces; and (18) HTML. Please provide a written expression of
