Naval Surface Warfare Center, (NSWCDD) has a requirement for
engineering, analytical and technical support for various Navy programs
that have been established to achieve Electromagnetic Compatibility
(EMC) among and between electronic/electric systems and/or equipments.
Specific technical areas or programs to be addressed include: (1) EMC
Fleet Support; (2) EMC System Engineering for CG-47 (AEGIS) and DD-51
(AEGIS), MHC-51/53 AND LHD 1-7; (3) EMC System Engineering for JTIDS;
(4) Missile System E3/EMC; (5) Composite Material Shipboard
Utilization; (6) EMC Evaluation for Shipboard C4I, Electronic Warfare
(EW) and ESM Systems; (7) Cooperative Engagement Capability EMC; and
(8) E3/EMC Support for Ship New Construction and Overhaul, Systems
Development, Topside Design and Ship Self Defense System (SSDS).
Approximately 40 manyears of effort are expected to be required for
each year of the contract. The contract will include a base period and
four one year options. All personnel must have security clearances and
a contractor facility clearance is required. All work is to be
performed in the local Dahlgren, VA area. It is anticipated that the
RFP will be released on or about 01 June 2000. Posted 05/05/00
