This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000. Coast Guard Air Station Detroit requires lodging for 10 persons each night for period May 23 through Sep 07, 2000 (107 nights). Lodging must be within commuting distance of not more than 10 miles from Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Mt. Clemens, MI 48045-5011. The scope of work is as follows: 1. Up to eight persons may share lodgings of not more than two (02) persons per unit with two (02) bedrooms. 2. In addition to the above requirement, two (02) single rooms each night are required. Lodging facilities must provide working telephone, Air Conditioning, Cable TV, Kitchen(ette) stocked with dishes, eating utensils and pots & pans, and on-site laundry facilities. 3. Maid service should be flexible to accommodate personnel swaps on Fridays throughout the Temporary Additional Duty (TAD) period mentioned above. 4. In addition to the 10 person requirment discussed above, lodging is required for four (04) additional persons for two (02) and three (03) day periods during the period of May 23 through Sep 07, 2000. 5. Tentative dates are: May 23 -- 25; Jun 13 -- 16; Jun 20 -- 23; Jul 11 -- 14; Jul 18 thru 21; Aug 08 -- 11; and Aug 15 -- 18. 6. Please note that these dates are subject to change. 7. Up to two (02) persons may share each unit withtwo (02) bedrooms. 8. Lodging facilities for these four (04) people must provide, at a minimum, working telephone, Air Conditioning, Cable TV, and on-site laundry facilities. 9.
