This proposed contract is UNRESTRICTED. JOB DESCRIPTION: The project consists of all necessary construction and relocations related to the installation of 8,000 meters of impervious cutoff wall from the mouth of the lower American River, 300 meters south along the East Levee of the Sacramento River. And from the mouth of the Lower American River to H Street. Construction requires installation of a soil-cement-bentonite slurry cutoff wall with a maximum depth of 23 meters and a minimum width of 0.61 meters. The type of utility relocations include drain papes, sewer and water lines. SIC CODE: This procurement will be conducted under SIC Code: 1629. The size standard for this SIC Code is: $17,000,000.00. Large business competing for this project must comply with the FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on the part of the work it intends to subcontract. The recommended goals for subcontracting are 61.4% for small business, 9.1% for small disadvantaged business, and 5.0% for small business/women owned. A firm that submits a plan with lessor goals must submit written rationale to support goals submitted. Estimated cost is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000.
