The 50 CES SQ and 50 CONS SQ plans to award this as a Sole Source
Acquisition. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial
items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a
written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) FA2550-00-T0196 is the
solicitation number; the solicitation is issued as a request for
quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated
provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition
Circular 97-13 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. Performance
period is through 30 Sept 2000. (iv) Standard Industrial Code 7389. (v)
CLIN 0001 The contractor shall repair all hardware components to
include, but not limited to, printed circuit cards, power supplies,
modules, central processing units, fail over circuitry, terminals,
drives, servers, modems and all software used by the HSQ Operational
Management and Control System (OMCS). The contractor shall
troubleshoot, repair and document all repairs. The contractor shall
supply repair parts on an as needed basis to conduct any required
repairs to devices sent them or being repaired on site by routine or
emergency maintenance. All newly installed parts will be warranted for
a period of one year or with a manufacturer warranty. (vi) The
provisions at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors _ Commercial item,
applies with the following evaluation factors: past performance and
price evaluation factors are weighted equal, price must be considered
fair and reasonable. The government reserves the right to award an
offeror other than the low priced offeror. (vii) Offerors must include
with their offer a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3

(vi) above, as well as the representations and certifications required
