Pearson, Contracting Officer (256) 313-4029 The Government proposes to acquire on an other than full and open competitive basis, contractual services, as defined in FAR 37.201(a) by the assignment of Engineering and Logistic Services, which would include technical publications, Quality Deficiency Reports (QDRs), provisioning, and recapitalization studies, for the Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (TADS/PNVS) and related test and support equipment as installed on or used with the AH-64A Apache Helicopter. The period of performance for this effort will be one year from date of contract award with a one-year option, as funding becomes available. It is anticipated that Award will be made utilizing a Firm Fixed Price contract. This is a sole source requirement to Lockheed Martin Electronics and Missiles, 5600 Sand Lake Road, MP-228, Orlando, Florida 32819-8907. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Sources, is applicable to this proposed procurement.
