technical, administrative, logistical and managerial services to staff,
manage and operate the Battle Simulation centers at Fort Hood, Texas,
Fort Carson, Colorado, Fort Riley, Kansas and other facilities and
sites to include overseas. The Contractor shall conduct functional area
research and scenario development in the following simulation
environments to include opposing forces: Famliy of Simulations
(FAMSIM); Corps of Battle Simulations (CBS); Brigade/Battalion
Simulation (BBS); Tactical Simulation (TACSIM); Joint Intelligence
Model (JIM); BCTP Intelligence Collection Model (BICM); Janus/DBST;
Force XXI Command Brigade and Battalion (FBCB2);Operation Other Than
War (OOTW); Confederation of Models; Aggregate Level Simulation
Protocol (ALSP); Combined Arms Tactical Trainers (CATT); Joint
Simulations (JSIM); Warfighter Simulation(WARSIM); Vision XXI AAR
System, Computer Combined Tactical Trainer(CCTT); SPECTRUM; Combat
Service Support Training Simulation System(CSTS); Virtual Unmanned
Aerial Vehicle(VUAV); Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System;
Terrain Board Simulations; First Battle Battalion-Corps, Fire Command;
Fire Command Plus; Apache and Warrior Spirit. The Contractor shall
maintain databases created to perform this requirement, operate
governent communication network, provide technical communication
support and operate government furnished computer equipment. The
Contractor shall perform housekeeping services, provide support for
exercises, locally and at remote sites and be responsible for the
transport of exercise equipment to and from remote sites. Tentative
Issue date is 05 June 2000. Tentative receipt of proposals, 10 July
2000. A pre-Proposal Conference and Site visit is tentatively scheduled
for 14 June 2000. The period of the contract is anticipated to run from
01 October 2000 through 30 September 2001 with four one year option
periods. The type of contract for this effort is Firm Fixed Price. The
Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this acquisition is
7376 and the size standard is $18 Million. Your proposal shall
indicate (1) that your company is not currently on the List of Parties
Excluded from Federal Procurement or Nonprocurement Programs. All
