Q -- TEMPORARY RADIOLOGIST SERVICES SOL IFB679-061-00WG DUE 062800 POC Wanda Goolsby, Contracting Officer (205) 554-2837 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (DVAMC), Tuscaloosa, AL has a requirement for a contractor to furnish the services of a board-certified radiologist who has current, unrestricted licensure in a state, territory or commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. The Department of Health and Human Services OIG Exclusionary List and the National Practitioner's Data Bank must be queried prior to providing contractual services. These queries must be negative and show no evidence of past disciplinary actions. The contractor shall provide Radiologist Services at the DVAMC to perform and interpret Fluoroscopy examinations. These examinations include but may not be limited to Upper GI air count w/o KUB; Small Bowel Multi films; Colon Barium Enema; Colon Air Contrast; and Urogram IV w/Nephrotomograms. These services are required three to five days a week for approximately two to three hours per day. The days and times could be negotiable and would be dependent on workload. The examination types are listed in the Schedule of Supplies/Services. The Radiologist shall dictate the interpretation on tape for transcription. The Radiologist will verify final reports of examinations performed in the Tuscaloosa Vista System within one week. Radiologists will be required to be Credentialed and Privileged at the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
