Healthcare System intends to negotiate a sole source contract for
service to collect, transport, collate and enter medical records into
a terminal digit location with Northeast Archives, 225 Broadway,
Methuen, Massachusetts. In accordance with Federal Acquisition
Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), the Government is negotiating directly
with Northeast Archives to perform this service as they currently are
storing some records and the costs attributable to transport are not
expected to be recovered through competition. Anticipated date of award
is May 25, 2000. This award will be made using simplified acquisition
procedures. No solicitation will be made available. Interested parties
may identify their interest and capability to respond to this
requirement within 10 days of this publication. A determination by the
Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based on
responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the
Government. The Contracting Officer may be contacted by e-mail at
