ETV (ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY VERIFICATION) VENDOR MEETING FOR MANUFACTURERS OF COATINGS AND GROUTS FOR SEWER SYSTEM REHABILITATION CBD Announcement of Technology Vendor Meeting for the ETV Source Water Protection Pilot. Meeting date: June 27, 2000. Meeting Location: Hilton -- University of Houston. Description of Pilot: NSF International (Ann Arbor, MI) is partnering with US EPA National Risk Management Research Laboratory (Edison, NJ) and US EPA Office of Research and Development to accelerate the commercialization of of improved environmental technologies. The ETV verification process stresses third party testing using technically sound protocols and appropriate QA/QC, in addition to third party review of data and reporting of technology performance. ETV provides purchasers, permitters, and technology manufacturers with objective, quality assured data on technologies. The purpose of the Vendor Meeting is to bring together manufacturers of coatings and grouts to explain the Environmental Technology Verification Program and discuss the key issues of the protocols under development. EPA and NSF will provide the meeting participants with details about the benefits and responsibilities of participation in the ETV Program. Input from the vendor community regarding the protocol contents and the verification process will be encouraged. A block of rooms is being held at the Hilton -- University of Houston (4800 Calhoun, Houston, TX). Please inform the hotel reservationist that you will be attending the "EPA/NSF ETV Coating and Grout Vendor Meeting" to ensure your group rate. The dress code for the meeting is business casual and it is open to anyone interested in learning more about the ETV Program. Lunch will be served.
