Construct 8,100 SF (9-story w/cab) Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and 6,500 SF Aircraft Support Equipment (ASE) facility. ATCT work includes reinforced concrete footings, special foundations, floor slab, supporting superstructure, control tower cab, operations and training areas. Work will also include site work, pavement, utilities, HVAC, fire protection, back-up power systems, an elevator, communications support, connection to airfield lighting, demolition of existing tower, and landscaping. ASE work includes reinforced concrete footings, floor slab, steel frame, masonry walls, standing-seam pitched roof, shop spaces, administrative offices, and covered area for aircraft support equipment. Work will also include all site work, pavement, utilities, HVAC, fire protection, communication support, demolition of existing ASE facility, and landscaping. Estimated price for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated.
