The contract resulting from this solicitation will include services for renovations and miscellaneous repair and alteration projects at various leased and owned facilities located in the State of Alaska. This Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) will run for a period of two (2) years. Contractors must also posses the capabilities of working at least two jobs at the same time. Specific task/work orders will be issued by the Contracting Officer in accordance with the unit price schedule and specifications. The initial contract value will be $500,000.00 with a maximum value of 3 million over the life of the contract. The total amount of work ordered against this contract will not be less then $10,000.00. The total amount of one individual work order will not be less then $500.00 nor will it exceed $250,000.00. The evaluation factors are as follows: Multiplier Rate equals 70% for the evaluation factor and the Contractor's Information Sheets equal 30% of the evaluation. This Contractor's Information Sheets includes but is not limited to the following: Number of years as a General Contractor, how many permanent employee's your company has, and have you worked with estimating methods such as R. H. Means, Dodge Building Institute, US Postal Service IQC's. A pre-proposal conference will be held at the USPS, 3201 C Street, Suite 500, at the Business Center's conference room, Anchorage AK 99503-9121. The meeting will be held on Thursday May 18, 2000, at 10:00am. Solicitations will be available to be picked up on or after May 8, 2000.
