Notice is hereby provided of the Government requirement to procure a replacement of the electric parking ramp snow melting system at the James Hanley Federal Building, Syracuse, NY. The garage concrete ramp shall be replaced in two (2) phases to allow access to the building garage. The successful contractor will be required to furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision. The proposed construction includes selective demolition. Sealed bidding will be conducted on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The solicitation will include a 10% price evaluation preference for HUBZone small business concerns pursuant to FAR 52.219-4. An additional 10% Price Evaluation Adjustment will be available to small disadvantaged business concerns from the states of AL, AR, IL, IN, KY, LA, MI, MS, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, TN, TX and WI. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 1542 and the small business standard size is $17.0 million. The performance period shall not exceed 180 days commencing one day after the notice to proceed. Bid guarantee, performance and payment bonds are required. Copies of the drawings and specifications and will be made available tentatively on June 5, 2000.
