43 -- DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE PUMP SYSTEM SOL 00-SQ-34-0204 DUE 062600 POC Larry Miller, Contract Specialist, Voice 520-343-8137 -- Fax 520-343-8568 The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation is seeking a Contractor to design and manufacture a pump system to include, pump, motors, bowls, shafts, couplings and column pipe for 11 Yuma Area Drainage Wells with an option for four (4) additional pumping systems. Yuma Reclamation is seeking to standardize pump and motor design to reduce spare parts inventories and increase the flexibility to make rapid repairs and increase pumping efficiency. Pumps shall be vertical turbine type. Pumps and motors must be reliable, have a service record for continuous, heavy duty operation pumping groundwater and require minimum of maintenance. Period of performance July 31, 2000 through September 15, 2000. The Government is using polices contained in Part 12. Any award made under this solicitation will be made to the responsible offeror who provides the best overall value to the Government. This is an unrestricted acquisition.
