61 -- RF POWER AMPLIFER SOL RFQ-NCI-00114 DUE 053000 POC Cynthia Brown, Purchasing Agent, 301-402-4509, Gail Zois, Contracting Officer The National Insitutes of Health, National Cancer Institutes (NCI) plans to procure a RF Power Amplifer in accorndance with the simplified acquisitions procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement consitutes a combined synopsis/solicitation and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation incorporates applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAR 97-15. This solicitation is not a small business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3663, and business size standard is 750. A RF Power Amplifier is needed by the Radiation Biology Branch. The RF Power amplifier shall meet the following specifications: (1). Frequency range shall be 20 MHz to 1000 MHz; (2) CW Power shall be 200W; (3) Input for rated output shall be 1mW; (4) Class "A" operation; (5) RF input format shall be CW/AM/FM/PM/Pulse; (6) Noise figure of 10 dB; (7) Input/Output impedance of 50 Ohms; (8) AC input 200-240V; (9) output connector Type "n"; (10) input connector Type SMA; (11) Coolingsystem shall be Forced Air Cooling; (12) Case Style shall be rack mounting; and Remote control shall be IEEE-488 GPIB. Offerors must provide descriptive literature, warranties, and/or other materials in sufficient detail to demonstrate that their offer meets the foregoing requirements. The anticipated purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror with the lowest-price offer that fully meets the requirements of this solicitation. This solicitation incorporates the NCI, Representation, Certification, and Other Statement of Offerors or Quoters (Simplified Acquisitions). The resulting contract will incorporate FAR Clause 52.213-4, Terms and Conditions-Simplified Acquisition.
