The Bureau of Reclamation in Boulder City, Nevada, is making a "sole source" procurement for a Water-Quality profiler. This instrumentation has the capability to collect depth-dependent water-quality data as required for the current USBR project "Water quality and wildlife enhancement using vegetated floating platforms, upper Las Vegas Bay, Lake Mead, Nevada". "The instrumentation is necessary to provide baseline water-quality data, including conductivity, pH, temperature, dissolve-oxygen, turbidity, and chlorophyll, measure vertical and temporal changes in this data, and provide an indirect estimate of the efficiency of the vegetated platforms to bioaccumulate and remove selectd chemical constituents from the water column.
