Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform drydock
repairs including but not limited to the following Base Items: (1) Add
Deck Stiffener(s) in Forward Berthing Compartment, (2) Inspect Skeg Top
Plate in Engine Room, (3) Clean and Inspect Diesel Fuel and Waste Oil
Tank(s), (4) Remove and Dispose of Diesel Fuel, (5) Remove an Dispose
of Oil and Oily Water, (6) Clean, Inspect and Disinfect Potable Water
Tanks(s), (7) Clean and Inspect Sewage and Grey Water Collection and
Holding Tank(s), (8) Inspect Bronze Sleeves in Various Shaft Packing
Areas, (9) Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Propeller Shafts, (10) Renew
Water Lubricated Propeller Shaft Bearings, (11) Remove and Reinstall
Propellers, (12) Inspect MDE 8-inch Exhaust Flapper Valves and MDE
Exhaust Piping (13) Renew 18-inch Exhaust Stainless Steel Bands, (14)
Preserve the Transducer Hull Ring and Renew the V850 Transducer, (15)
Overhaul, Renew and Test Valves, (16) Inspect and Overhaul Duplex Sea
Strainers, (17) Remove and Reinstall Rudders, (18) Overhaul Stabilizing
Fins, (19) Inspect and Preserve Forepeak Compartment, (20) Underwater
Body, Coating Thickness Measurement -- Nondestructive, (21) Preserve
Freeboard, (22) Inspect and Maintain Cathodic Protection System, (23)
Renew Reference Electrode, (24) Provide Temporary Messing, Berthing,
and Temporary Logistics, (25) Routine Drydocking, (26) Government

and Nuts, (12) Straighten Propeller Shaft, (13) Repair and Balance
Propeller Root Erosion, (14) Renew Upper and Lower Bearing, (15) Renew
Lower Fin Stock Bearing, (16) Preserve underwater Body, Condition A,
B, and C -- 10% or entire U/W Body, (17) Renew Cathodic Anode, (18)
Renew Capastic Fairing, (19) Provide Additional Temporary Messing,
Berthing, and Logistics, (20) Ultrasonic Testing, (21) Composite Labor
Rate, (22) Laydays, etc. Vessel's homeport is located at CG Base Woods
Hole, Woods Hole, MA 02543-1099. Vessel is a 110-foot, "B" Class Patrol
Boat. Vessel width is 21 feet 1 inch. Vessel's availability is for 42
days starting 18 September, 2000. The place of performance for this
vessel is not geographically restricted. All referenced documents are
available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA.
Drawings are now available on CD-ROM. The CD-ROM sets are available
for all cutters and will be provided free of charge. The CD-ROM(s)
contain WINDOWS compliant raster/vector formats (e.g. *.TIF, *.TIF
(group4), *.DWG, and *.DWF, etc.) Drawings are also still available in
hard copy. A non-refundable charge of $150.00 is required in the form
of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast
Guard for requested drawings. Funds are available for this procurement.
All Businesses, large and small, are encouraged to submit bids for the
subject requirements. Plans and specifications will be issued on of
after May 23, 2000. The proposed contract listed here is part of the
Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsible
sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the United States
