PHD, Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to issue a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) on a sole source basis to United Defense Limited Partnership,(UDLP) Armament Systems Division, 4800 E. River Road, Minneapolis, MN. The BOA shall include the procurement of material and services for the Guided Missile Launching Systems (GMLS) MK 10, 13, 22 and 26, GMLS/MSL Simulator MK 72, Digital Data Distribution Set AN/USC-40(v), GMLS Training Equipment and GMLS ancillary equipments of the United States Navy and United States allied navies under Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case, in support of in-service engineering requirements. Material and services include: (i) equipment changes, (ii) depot repair, (iii) spare & repair parts and (iv) storage of the above. UDLP is the original designer, developer and sole producer of the systems listed above and has custody of the full size GMLS MK 13 & 26 Land Based Test Units (LBTU) for design and test purposes. UDLP is the only firm possessing the in-depth technical knowledge, experience and capabilities required to manufacture, alter and repair these systems or their components and the only company that has access to the required facilities, special tooling, test equipment, computer program maintenance equipment as established for program support by NAVSEA. The proposed BOA is a follow-on to PHD NSWC BOA N63394-97-G-2113 and will have an ordering period of 1 June 2000 through 31 May 2002. *PHD NSWC intends to issue individual Orders under this BOA which will have an ordering limit of $9.9M. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this requirement is 8711 and the Federal Supply Classification (FSC) J014. Notes 12, 22 and 26 are applicable to this requirement.
