The Operational Contracting Division, Los Angeles AFB, CA intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis the extension of contract F04693-95-H0001 (currently expiring 073100). The extension is intended to be awarded to Scheduled Airline Traffic Offices, Arlington, VA, for a period of six months, with two additional six-month option periods. The extension is required to continue support of commercial travel services at Los Angeles AFB until implementation of the Defense Travel System. Statutory Authority for this sole source extension is title 10 U.S.C. 2034 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. The Government will take any responses received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis into consideration.
