It will include the installation of new precast toilet buildings, installing trash bin pads, extending the existing water system, installing new faucet units, installing barrier rocks, installing signage, re-paving, the parking lot with two inches of asphalt concrete, installig an accessable loading platform. It will aslo include additional repair and widening of the boat ramp on the right side that could not be completed under a previous contract due to high water levels. Estimated price range is $100,000 to $250,000. There will be a non-mandatory prebid meeting on June 22, 2000 at 1 p.m. at project site. Project site is located in the Crystal Basin Recreation Area off of the Ice House Road (Route 3) in Eldorado County, on the Pacific Ranger District. To reach the project site from Placerville travel east on U.S. 50 to Riverton. Then travel approximately 30 miles north on Ice House Road (Route 3) to the Loon Lake Road(14N01). Travel east approximately 6 miles on the Loon Lake Road to the Loon Lake campground road and turn right. Continue approximately 1/2 miles to the Boat Ramp parking area.
